What are the Gatsby Benchmarks (GB)?

We meet GB1 by having a robust programme in place which meets the needs of all our learners GB3. Using Labour Market information GB2, we ensure that we give our students relevant and diverse opportunities to engage with experiences of the workplace GB6 and build their aspirations.  Students are able to explore those aspirations within their subjects as each faculty and subject area exposes students to potential career pathways GB4.  Through an extensive programme of wider Opportunities students are able to meet a range of employers and employees GB5 and visit universities and apprenticeship providers GB7.  We work closely with our Enterprise Partner and a wide range of local and nationwide businesses to ensure that all students are able to discover and nurture their talents and interests. All students will receive professional guidance GB8 across the course of the programme.

Activities are planned to span the whole year.  Guidance takes place when and where necessary to address the needs of individual students.
